Chuckanut Trail Water Association

The Chuckanut Trail Water Association (CTWA) is a tax-exempt corporation operating under a permit from the Washington Department of Health as a “Group A Community Water System.” CTWA is currently authorized to serve a maximum of 86 residential service connections located within the prescribed borders of the association. We currently serve 57 connections (called “members’), which have been assigned water shares by the CTWA Board. Upon approval by a majority of our current members, CTWA can assess fees for the maintenance and operation of the water system. The Association is also required to prepare and distribute an “Annual Water Quality Report” to members of the Association. (See Consumer Confidence Reports below.)

CTWA contracts with John Mercer, owner of Water System Services Inc., to serve as the state-required Water System Operator. Cary Ellison provides billing and accounting services.
